Guns were used to protect the community from the police, because during the 60s era police brutality was a major problem with black communities.

In this primary source the angry Black Panther Protesters were protesting against Huey P. Newton getting arrested and going to trial for something that he did not commit. Police would arrest Black Panthers and accuse them for something they didn't do, and later the charges would be dropped.

This source helped me to realize some of the challenges that the
BPP had to face. With this source throughout the text it gave a vivid
picture on how the Police treated each black person that was associated
with BPP. This source is a primary source it gives raw information about
the trials and the layout on what happened that which Fred Hampton was
assassinated. This source is reliable I found this off a academic site in
which the article was in full text and per-viewed before it was published.
The author of this source is Bennett Hans, in this text he is more on the
BPP side and actually connecting the pieces into the puzzle. This author is
an independent author who expresses his thoughts freely, and is an expert
in the literacy field. The purpose of this writing was to announce the
world that Black Panther meant no harm but the Police did and they tried to
finish them quick before something happened. With using this source my
knowledge in Black Panther became wider in the understanding of their
political party and the challenges they were faced with.

This was a primary source, which showed the audio clip of the head of the BPP group speaking about them and their issues with the police. The purpose of using this audio clip was to show how the head of BPP thought of how the Police attacked them. This source is kind of limited but gives a good amount of information on Huey P. Newton perspective of the police.

The author of this journal is Leger, Marc James who is a journalist and is well experienced in the fields of writing different types of literature. The purpose of this source was to get some information on people thoughts who were either arrested or were arrested and what their view was with the police. This source was filled with more than enough information on it’s topic, it gave information on different jail members, who are still alive that were from the Black Panther speaking about their thoughts. This information can help me write about the after life of the Black Panther and talk about the last small number of activists who are still alive.

This source is a very reliable source it contains all the information you need about the piece of information. The author of the photo is Dave Pickoff, who is well into the historical pictures movement. This photo can help me talked about how many times it was hard for black person to fight for their rights when all of them were getting shut up by getting arrested.

This source was used to how seriously the BPP took everything, and to show people that their community is like their family, and if someone don’t want to support them they won’t support them in their business. With reading and watching videos of the boycott, and watching the Black Panthers’ in action with helping people out during their survival programs. The Panthers decided to boycott any liquors stores that were owned by Bill Boyette, because he didn’t feel like contributing to the community in helping the survival program.This is a primary source which has the contents of the author who took the photo and the original picture in which it was formed as. The author of the photo is Sal Vender, who is well into the Domestic News category, and is an expert at taking photos with historical pictures movement. He is in the field of taking photos at historical events and is a well known photographer for the BPP. This photo can help me introduce the topic about how the Black Panther Party had survival programs for the people who couldn’t afford the government programs that were given to each citizen.

This source was very useful because it was a very large book which gave information on the Black Panther’s good times and bad times. This helped me understand how the Black Panther Party was really important around the black communities. The Black Panthers had programs for people who couldn’t afford enough money for that program they needed to survive. This source is both primary and secondary it contains both background information, and also contains original photos from the current events that were going on around in the 60s. The author of the book is Howard L. Bingham, he is well known in the black photographer community. He used to be the biographer of Muhammad Ali, and later became the first black photographer to work on a Hollywood camera. This source was used to get more information on the Black Panther, this book was very big and long in length. This source was made for people who really needed a understanding of the Black Panther, and so people could see the important peoples’ faces who started the Party and to look at actual pictures that were taken back then. This source had a lot of facts, and information that I needed for my topic and could be a book I could look at again if I need more facts about the Black Panthers. The information in this book can help me write about the programs that they made, and how affective the programs were to the communities.

Their are a bunch of authors that contributed to this reference, in these authors are all certified and were approved to right this article. The purpose of using this source was to get information that is more deep into the creation of the Black Panther Party. This source was filled with information on the topic that I was hoping for. This information can help me when I start writing about the creation of BPP, and how they made known and public to the world.

This information is helpful because it has the perspective of a Black Panther activist, and gives the reader more information because she was actually there when the events were current.

This source was useful because it gave more information in depth on each survival program that the Black Panthers owned. This helped me understand how the Black Panther Party started little program but as they started to get more publicity more people started to follow after BPP. This source is a secondary source, which gives information on the programs that they first established, and really leans on the positive things that the Panthers did. David Hilliard, who was a member of the Black Panther Party when it was still an active group. Hilliard prospective was to lean on the Panthers side, and to inform the reader that even though some of the stuff people may considered bad they helped a lot of black communities out who couldn’t get somewhere because of transportation, or because they couldn’t afford it. The purpose of this book was the information in the book can help me write about the programs that they made, and how affective the programs were to the communities. This source has a variety of facts I could look at to write a paper on, and guide me into a place where I feel confident that I know all the information I needed to know about that topic.

The perspective of the book is writing in Bobby Seale language as if he wrote the book. The purpose of this source was for me to get have some knowledge of the person who started the party so I can know why he is very important in the BPP after I started to look at some of the parties events that occurred. This source contains enough of information so that I can talk about the people who first started the party, and it allowed me to have a lot of good information I could use in introducing them.
